Terena has entertained and informed a whole range of audiences in subjects as diverse as Woodfuel, Sustainability, and Sheepdog Training. Her lifestyle and manner make the talks inspirational, and people leave an event feeling fascinated and enthralled. Her main subject these days is, of course, The Greening Campaign and she gives several talks a month on this topic across the country. Sheepdog Training
Whether the dogs are present or not, Terena can extol the humour, fears, joy and love of training dogs to work. Having worked with dogs for over 10 years, Terena has plenty of experience and memories to fuel the subject and it is no wonder that these wonderful dogs are a breed that has not been altered for centuries.
Sustainability
For 8 years Terena was Manager of The Sustainability Centre which gave Terena a true understanding of the popular topic ‘sustainability’. What does that word really mean? How does it affect us? As an animated speaker, Terena can define and explore this massive subject whilst ensuring the audience is touched by the passion she feels.
Wood fuel
Our future will include boilers and power-stations powered by wood!! With CO2 emissions being a hot topic, wood fuel offers a serious, efficient and reliable alternative. It increases the biodiversity for the region, creates jobs, and reduces the need for grants to subsidise the care of our countryside. Your audience will be undeniably curious to hear about a future for their children powered by wood.
